Great news, we've confirmed with BC Artistic Swimming and Templeton Park Pool that we are okay to continue with our practices. Please observe our rules regarding masking anywhere except on deck and respect physical distancing requirements at all times.
Here is more information released from BC Artistic Swimming today (Sunday, November 8th). See you at the pool!
On Saturday, November 7, 2020, the Province of BC issued new Public Health Orders in relation to limiting the spread of the coronavirus in BC. In response and effective immediately, the following restrictions in relation to artistic swimming activities in BC are now in place:
Until further notice, clubs operating in the Fraser Health and Vancouver Coastal Health Regions MUST respect physical distancing measures at all times and MAY NOT participate in activities or interactions with close proximity or contact as outlined in Appendix 14 of the Return to Artistic Swimming Guidelines.
All clubs in BC are expected to enforce that all participants wear masks at all times, except when in the water.
Until further notice, athletes, coaches, and officials are not permitted to travel in or out of the Fraser Health and Vancouver Coastal Health regions to participate in artistic swimming activities.
All clubs in BC are expected to continue to operate with the parameters established by their respective municipality(ies) and facility(ies).
These measures are expected to be temporary as we work together to, once again, flatten the curve of COVID-19 cases in BC.
