Happy New Year! I hope you all had a restful and healthy holiday season. The current provincial health order is set to expire this Friday, Jan. 8 at midnight. If they do not extend the order, or put a new one in place, then we should be able to resume synchro practice (fingers crossed). If everything goes to plan, our first practice of the Winter trimester will be Sunday, January 10 at Templeton Pool (your normally scheduled time). There is no practice Family Day weekend (February 14). Templeton is scheduled for their annual maintenance shut down in February, so practice on February 7, 21, 28, and March 7, 14 will be at Renfrew Pool (https://vancouver.ca/parks-recreation-culture/renfrew-pool-hours-and-location.aspx). The Renfrew practice times are pretty much the same (you may start 15 minutes earlier than you do at Templeton).
As we've done so far this season, if provincial health orders prevent us from swimming, you will not be charged for those practices. Credits will be applied to invoices after they are issued, so please check the live web link for the up-to-date amount that you owe, after any credits are applied. The same payment structure (choice of monthly or lump sum) will be in place, and the pricing will be about the same. Erin will have a concrete number for you once Winter registration has been completed.
Finally, we're asking everyone to complete a registration form for this trimester before practice resumes. If you've decided not to continue swimming, please still complete the form (there's a spot to indicate you won't be swimming) - it helps us with numbers. The registration form can be found here: https://forms.gle/BZN1BnxN56tqi2QL6
Keep a lookout for future emails from us, with updates on practices. See you in the pool (hopefully)!
